What You Can Do

Protect Children's Health

  • Protect children’s health and lives by learning about recalls for toys that could be harmful.  (Mattel-Fisher-Price has recalled more than 1 million toys sold to the U.S.)
  • Studies show that childhood exposure to lead can damage organs, cause learning problems, reduced intelligence, hyperactivity, attention deficit disorder, and is associated with nervous system problems.  To view products that could be harmful to children and families (from toys to chairs and drinking glasses), visit http://cpsc.gov/ (U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission).  Parents may also sign up to receive email alerts from this agency.
