Tree of Sharing provides gifts to the often-forgotten people in our area.
This community partnership has allowed us to serve up to 8,000 often-forgotten members of our community.
Confidentiality is preserved throughout the entire process. The unique way in which we discharge this huge responsibility allows the participating agencies to focus on their mission, while we help fill their beneficiaries' needs.
Here is how the Tree of Sharing works.
Tree of Sharing,
- Tree of Sharing booths
are setup at 3 Spokane malls: Northtown Mall, River Park Square (first level), and the
Spokane Valley Mall. The mall tables will be open from November 24th through December 17, 2017 and are staffed by volunteers all hours the malls are open.
- Shoppers pick up a gift tag at any of these
locations. It will have a brief description of the gift request and the
gift recipient. For instance, you may see a tag for a 70-year-old man
who needs a pair of gloves or a 4 year old girl who would like a stuffed animal.
- The shopper then takes the tag, buys the gift listed on the tag,
and returns it to any of the Tree of Sharing Mall locations. That
present goes to the identified agency. The agency staff distributes the gifts to the 70-year
old man or the 4 year old girl. Please NOTE: The gifts must be returned to the Mall by December 11th at 4:00 pm.
a wholly independent 501(c)(3) non-profit

This year 2016 we will celebrate 34 years of service to the Greater
Spokane Area, now serving a total of 57 agencies.
