KYRS Thin Air Community Radio
KYRS Thin Air Community Radio is a non-commercial, volunteer-powered community radio station supporting the Spokane and outlying areas.
We feature local and syndicated programming that highlights local and independent artists and covers public affairs issues important to our listeners.KYRS Thin Air Community Radio serves the Inland Northwest with progressive perspectives, filling needs that other media do not, providing programming to diverse communities and unserved or underserved groups.
We provide a forum for non-corporate and neglected perspectives and discussions on important local, national and global issues, reflecting values of peace, social, economic and environmental justice, human rights, democracy, multiculturalism, freedom of expression and social change.
Our arts, cultural, and music programming covers a wide spectrum of expression from traditional to experimental and reflects the diverse cultures Thin Air serves. We strive for spontaneity and program excellence, both in content and technique.
We are currently seeking the following:

Marmot Fest music festival,
second weekend in July. http://www.marmotfest.com
. Dozens of volunteers are needed to help out before, during and after the festival. The 2014 festival is July 12th in Glover Field in Peaceful Valley, Spokane, just below the Falls.
