Mission:   Washington Trails Association's mission is to preserve, enhance, and promote hiking opportunities in Washington state through collaboration, education, advocacy and volunteer trail maintenance.
Volunteer Opportunities:
  • Volunteer trail work parties in Spokane County Parks, Washington State Parks, eastern Washington BLM lands, and National Forest lands.

    • Our Spokane-area work parties are now concluded for 2016.  We'll see you once the snow melts!
    • The 2017 volunteer dates will be posted approximately 1 month in advance of each work party.  Check the volunteer website for eastern Washington volunteer dates starting in February 2017, as we expect to begin work in mid-March!  Volunteer days continue year-round on the west side of the state.

  • Write content for website through trip reports and hiking guide entries.
