Mission Community Outreach Center is an ecumenical, Christian-based nonprofit organization supported by the generosity of local churches, businesses, service organizations, and community members.

We serve low income and homeless
families and individuals in Spokane with clothing, household goods, and hygiene items.  We also serve families in Spokane County with children age three and under with diapers, wipes and infant care items.

We hold two major annual events:
our Back to School Shoe Drive in late August, and our Parents' Christmas Shopping Event in mid-December.

Volunteer Opportunities:
  • Children's Christmas Joy Now! Go to www.4mission.org
  • Interact with clients at our reception desk check-in.  (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons)
  • Sort and display donated clothing and household items at our Outreach Center.  (Monday and Wednesday mornings and afternoons)

  • Help with special events.  We need groups to sponsor and help organize:

    Blanket and linen drives
Back to School Shoes and Children's Christmas Joy clothing drive
    Diaper drives
Hygiene items drive wit Fred Meyer annually or with you network any time during the year

Call us at (509) 536-1084 or send an email to mcoc.spokane@gmail.com to inquire about a volunteer position.  Thank you!
