Partners with Families and Children
We offer expert evaluation and treatment services to children and families in crisis - encircling them with security and support, and providing the knowledge, treatment and caring necessary to restore broken children and families to healthy, productive lives.
Mission: Partners with Families & Children prevents, interrupts and repairs cycles of abuse and neglect within families.
Partners is licensed by the State of Washington to provide mental health and chemical dependency services and contracts with Spokane County Community services to provide these services to Spokane County residents who receive and/or who are entitled to Medicaid.
In addition to providing mental health and chemical dependency services to Spokane County Medicaid residents, Partners contracts with the State of Washington Children's Administration to provide services to parents who are involved in the child welfare system.
Partners is a nationally accredited Children's Advocacy Center. As a Children's Advocacy Center, Partners provides child victims and their non-offending family members a comprehensive multidisciplinary response to child abuse and neglect.
The services offered by Partners' CAC include: medical evaluations, forensic interviews, advocacy and therapeutic interventions.
In 2014, Partners served:
More than 380 vulnerable children providing medical evaluations, forensic interviews and child advocacy services.
More than 500 families for mental health, chemical dependency, and other supportive services.
Population area served: Washington and Idaho
Dine Out for Our Kids
Dine Out for Our Kids in a regional fundraising event benefiting Partners with Families & Children and our work to prevent child abuse. On April 26, 2016, area restaurants will donate a portion of their sales in support of the families we serve. While it seems wonderfully direct and simple, Dine Out for Our Kids relies on the generosity of the entire community sharing a meal.
