Inland Northwest Rail Museum
The mission of the Inland Northwest Rail Museum and Inland Empire Railway Historical Society is to preserve railway history by collecting documents, artifacts and equipment of historical interest regarding past and present railroads and railroad operations in the Inland Northwest.
The society also maintains a repository of documents and books to be used by those conducting research into Inland Northwest railroad history for educational and or publication purposes.
The IERHS provides speakers and displays to public and private groups for the presentations regarding Inland Northwest railroad history.
(NOTE: Although this museum is outside of Spokane County, it will remain on the Spokane Cares website. After more than 30 years on the Spokane County Fairgrounds, the Inland Empire Railway Historical Society was asked to move.)
Always interested in new members and those interested in helping restore and maintain our collections.
