To provide education, prevention, intervention and treatment services to youth, families and adults in conflict or crisis.
YFA Connections was founded in 1969 under the name Youth Help Association by a group of local citizens concerned by the growing involvement of Spokane youth with illegal and addictive drugs. From the initial focus on teenagers and marijuana, the agency has evolved to offer a wide range of counseling and treatment services. In 1997 the agency updated its name to Youth, Family, Adult Connections to better reflect the services provided to families and adults. Throughout our long tradition of service, YFA has developed a reputation for professionalism and caring in the community. Just as the puzzle pieces in our logo form a complete circle, our services are designed to help clients in conflict and crisis fit the pieces of their lives together in healthy and productive ways.
