Purpose:
Transitional housing and case management for homeless women, ages 18-21, and their children. 

To provide young females (many from Alexandria’s) with or without children to attend school/work, attend parenting groups and independent living classes, pay 30% of the rent, and work towards obtaining self-reliance.

This 5-apartment complex houses females age 18-21, with or without children. 


Volunteer Opportunities:
  • work with childcare
  • yard work
  • tutoring
  • upkeep projects
  • serve as positive mentor and role model
  • Donate:  
basic clothing (adult and toddler), bedding (twin & toddler), children’s toys, diapers (toddler), food and milk for individual apartment households, fruits and vegetables for making baby food, personal and feminine hygiene products.
