The mission of Safety Net is to support former foster youth in their critical post-foster years.  That means helping them with the resources to stay in school, assist with household items for their first independent living situation, and handle minor financial emergencies when they have nowhere else to turn. 
Volunteer Opportunities:
  • Support the organizations fund raising efforts.
  • Donate:   Furniture for their first apartment, blankets, pillows, double sheets, household cleaning supplies, bathroom items such as toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, shower curtains, small kitchen appliances, dishes, silverware, dish cloths, mixing bowls, pots and pans, and kitchen items such as dish soap, Ziploc bags, sponges, can openers and measuring cups.
