Neighborhood Accountability Board
(NAB - a program of Spokane County Juvenile Court)
The Neighborhood Accountability Board Program provides an alternative to the formal court system while still holding youngsters accountable for their actions.
Referrals come from the prosecutorís office after police have filed a report.
- Volunteers meet with juvenile offenders and their parents/guardians to determine a disposition for misdemeanors and gross misdemeanors.† These youth are 1st and 2nd time offenders, who have been charged with offenses such as shoplifting and possession of alcohol or drugs.†
