To provide dependable, accurate information on voting processes, issues and candidates.

The League is:
  • Non-partisan - never supporting or opposing political parties or candidates.
  • Political - taking action on selected governmental issues, based on positions developed through member research, study, discussion and consensus.
  • Multi-issue - working in coalition with other organizations that share League’s values.
  • Volunteer, member-directed - any male or female citizen over 18 may be a voting member.
  • Membership - covers the local, state and national levels.

As a member of the League of Women Voters you will:

  • Enjoy stimulating discussions with other members.
  • Help League come to consensus/position.
