Fraud - Detect and Avoid Fraud

Studies show that as you get older, your ability to decipher deceit declines.  That means that you have to be even more vigilant.   

To spot online scammers, look for those who
  • make spelling errors
  • use fake photos
  • claim to be working overseas
  • ask for money
NEVER send money or share financial information with other online dating/match users (or anyone else you have never met).  Report anyone who asks for money or financial information to http://www.match.com.  In 2014 Americans lost over $82 million to fraud.  REPORT SCAMS.     “Stealing Hearts, online dating scams,” AARP, CBS News, July 22, 2015
