Gateway Dog Park
Washington-Idaho State Line

This fenced off-leash 3.5 acre dog park is located in the former State Line tourist information and rest area.  The rules are listed on the signs, including that the dogs must be licensed and socialized to avoid problems.

This park is non-irrigated, so the grass dries out in the summer; in addition, water fountains are available, except during winter.  The landscape is all natural and covered with black locust trees.  Although the dog park is co-maintained by SCRAPS, volunteers are appreciated to help maintain this park.  For more information, contact Spokane County Parks.

Directions: Take Exit 296 if heading East, just before crossing the Spokane River.  The dog park is on the north side of I-90.
